Unbelievable (I would use exclamation marks in my posts but they never show up)
Thank you, Max. You do kick ass, and it's an honor to have Stacy and yourself as our first 2 backers. We couldn't get any higher recognition on here than the 2 of you, and we thank you for starting us off like this.
And a deal is a deal. When we document our Sasquatch on this expedition we will hopefully be able to correctly identify gender and will name them after the both of your accordingly and you will receive top credit as well for being our first 2 backers.
This is the best start for us and the project that we could have imagined, and we hope many more follow your lead and that we can fully fund the project in the 30 days allowed.
Thank you both again :-) (if exclamation marks worked you would see a whole lot of them right now in this post) hahahaha

Outstanding. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Stacey Herbert. HUGE -High 5- to Stacy for being our first backer. You ROCK, and we are aaaaall smiles here right now and thank you for helping start us off like this today :-)
For being our first backer, when we document a female Sasquatch we will name her Stacy. Get Max to back us and we'll name the first male Sasquatch we document as Max.
This is really great, and I do hope the word gets out and that this captures the adventurous and scientific spirit in everyone.
We would really love if everyone could Tweet out our project because we really aren't Twitter users of very substantial followings and so we can't reach very many people at all.
But if those of you who can't back us monetarily could back us by Tweeting our project out to your followers we would very much appreciate it.
Thank you again...this is very exciting, isn't it?? We think so

We intend for this to be a success and even if it takes us a few years to save up our own money and to get external funding or grants, etc. we are going to continue to do so and to research and plan until we can finally get this to happen. And we only intend to provide the best absolute proof possible. We do not intend to harm any animals or any of the sasquatch we encounter. Only to observe and verify via audio, camera, video, tracks, physical samples like hair, etc. We will publish videos of all evidence and all who contribute will be given credit for all evidence found...it will be a total group/community endeavor and all will receive credit. Also depending on which backing is funded we will provide swag from the expedition as outline in the project proposal.

That way we could have a representative of the StartJoin community as the highest contributor come along to observe and see that we are doing what we said we would do and that we are very serious about this project. Like I said, any ideas that people would like to submit to us would be great and taken seriously as long as it contributes to the success of the project.

Regarding the flashfunding idea...I hadn't heard of that before...but in the proposal that I outlined for the project I did mention that we might do a contest for contributors to vote for one of maybe 3 or 4 likely areas that we would want to take the expedition to. Is that kind of what you meant? We also may open it up for one or more contributors to come and join us if they would like to for all or part of the trip. We know that might be expensive for those who don't live in North America, so that's when I came up with voting on a location for all who contribute as a possible fun thing to take part in. But we would certainly welcome people who could make their way with us...they would probably need to supply travel and supplies, etc. Or...maybe if we get fully funded or even receive more funding, we could offer the highest contributor to join us and use some of the funds to pay for them.

So anyways...as I've posted earlier...I would very much like any positive feedback, questions, suggestions, etc. in order to clarify everything we're trying to do on this project, and if we can fund it and add more to it then we certainly will. It's our hope, as stated in the project proposal that we submitted that we can fund part of this crypto-zoological expedition with crypto-currency. Seemed like a good way to team up with this community as well as the sasquatch community and those who believe in both and want to prove both are for real and not just a hoax or fad, ya know? So we are very serious in this endeavor and hope this will be successful. I hope that you think it's hilarious isn't going to be taken negatively and turn people off from getting interested in this project and helping us fund it. We would love your support very much :-) Thank you

This is a serious undertaking which is why we are putting as much research as we possibly can into choosing the best location possible for an extended camp/habitiuation location of at least 2 weeks and hopefully 3 weeks if the situation permits and is worth it. Right now, I would say we're going to focus on the Pacific Northwest part of the United States. Oregon, Washington, Northern California, etc. Time of year would most likely be next spring, summer, or fall seasons depending on what our research and funding determines would be best.

I hope you mean hilarious in a good way? It's very serious to us and not intended to be a joke at all. We have outlined everything we intend in the project description. As it states we will also be funding this with thousands of our own dollars. Travel, equipment, truck rental would be part of the costs. Much of this can be done inexpensively other than travel and shipping of equipment. Videos, pic, audio, and live wi-fi broadcasting would all be part of the plan. Location is still being seriously researched and we intend to also enlist the assistance of other noted sasquatch trackers and crypto-zoologists to join us or assist of if they would like to.
