new video posted today with updates from Chris -

Jan 7th 2016, 00:14

The US postal service claims my node arrived on Dec. 26 but I have been on holiday and won't return until Jan 6. Darn holidays!

Jan 3rd 2016, 18:41

Stephen Corcoran

something to look forward to then. That's a plus really :)

Jan 3rd 2016, 18:57

True. The irony is that I'd have rathered to stay home to receive the node than to go on holiday.

Jan 4th 2016, 15:12

Jostein Johansen

My node has arrived and has begun it's work

Packaged like a Boss. Eat that Apple. (no really eat the apple it is good for you). Great project, GREAT delivery. HURRAH

Dec 20th 2015, 13:36

Crypto Lover

Will this project be run again sometime? Would be great to get another opportunity to get in on it if you did, as I missed out first time round due to my lack of understanding of what it was exactly. Got a better idea after watching you on Keiser Report. Well done for getting 725% funded!

Dec 20th 2015, 05:16

Sterling Peyton

Chris said he wanted to eventually make 500 nodes- 1% of the current nodes on Bitcoin network. I think this project counted as 10 Nodes. After looking at the map, I don't think my area needs more full nodes. I like that this project hit 2 or 3 birds with one stone!

Dec 20th 2015, 05:23

Crypto Lover

There's no doubt that he'll get plenty more support if he does do it again on here!

Dec 20th 2015, 05:29

Crypto Lover

He came across really well on the Keiser Report. Sounded like a decent down to earth guy! :)

Dec 20th 2015, 05:31

John .

Yes he seems ok and whats more is he delivered on time even though he was messed about a bit

Dec 20th 2015, 12:56

Yos Ginting

Hi Chris,
I have just realised that the GBP 105 pledge I made on 8 Dec 2015 using bitcoin was still pending (greyed out on my pledges list) until today.
I have contacted support ([email protected]) to sort this out. I will let you know if this is has been cleared.
Congratulations for your success in getting the funding much more than the target!!

Dec 18th 2015, 02:42

Grace Ma

Hi Yos, I have just sent you an email to confirm that your pledge was successful. Chris was also cc-ed in. Hope this helps, thanks.

Dec 18th 2015, 08:30

Yos Ginting

Thanks Grace. Much appreciated. But why the entry on my pledges list still greyed out?

frai fable

Crypto /digital basic income doesn't have to cost anything! this is how to abolish poverty. you NEED to put in place and promote the crypto basic income. saving the world is within our grasp. you will see that as people don't have to keep their heads down to maintain their jobs. They have time to protest. 50 fold increase expected...

this is the silver bullet to end poverty and inequality, not to mention the quickest way of changing the voting process. robots taking jobs is an inevitability. so

Dec 14th 2015, 17:35

frai fable

huh? It shouldn't cost but I guess (and I'm no expert) that we may need the backing of A- Influential figures and B- Maybe a company like the Robin hood cooperative, who can establish a temporary Fiat based backing for the exchange rate to be temporarily boosted. At least until it is taken away and it stands on it's own merits. Like Bitcoin, but without the majority of it being in the hands of the early adopters and wealthy. do a small amount of searching on the subject of basic income crypto cu

I understands what software does but do not quiet get what hardware does ?
It is built with RB2 but what is device for?

Dec 14th 2015, 00:22

Sterling Peyton

The device is sold out. It is a Bitcoin full node. I guess that putting it on a small computing device helps bitcoin be more decentralized to one location.

Dec 14th 2015, 01:10

Stephen Corcoran

3 is the magic number. Just now you seem to have threes in spades.

Dec 11th 2015, 23:14

Stephen Corcoran

fives are better though, if you are eating from spades I rate 5555 as a good target :)

Dec 11th 2015, 23:15

jonathan redd

Make more. I want to be put on a waiting list. Thanks

Dec 10th 2015, 23:55

Paul Young

Likewise! Think i heard on Keiser Report that Chris plans to make 500 of these over time(?) Chris if that is the case, and if there is a waiting list, please could you add my name to it! Cheers

Sara A

Hi Chris, fantastic project. Just wanted to know if there will be some help available to keep the node fully functioning (e.g. needed maintenance/upgrades) over time?

Dec 2nd 2015, 10:02

Max Keiser

Reminder, anyone with questions you want me asking Chris on Keiser Report - let me know...

Dec 2nd 2015, 11:29

Chris Ellis

Hey Sara, yes we will setup a forum, Github TBC. But stay in touch with me @MrChrisEllis on Twitter for more details.

Dec 4th 2015, 01:32

Sara A

Thank you Chris. I look forward to setting up the node!

Dec 13th 2015, 18:13

Sam kaza

Max and Karl, in the first periscope Karl said that startjoin has a tech team in place and a handful of other resources. If that is true, why is it taking so long to correct the Bitcoin issue for this project? A child could fix the issue in 10 minutes, you have a so called tech team in place yet the problem has not been resolved...When is the BS going to stop?

Dec 1st 2015, 23:32

Henry Young

I wanted to pay Bitcoin but the error message had me paying PayPal in frustration. Now I hate myself because I wanted to get my name down for this more than I wanted to be patient and give StartJoin a chance to fix the problem with their Bitcoin payment processing for this project. Good luck Chris. Can we suggest questions for Max to ask on the show ?

Dec 1st 2015, 08:49

Max Keiser

Yes. Please suggest questions.

Dec 1st 2015, 09:15

Hard Btc

Would be great if Chris Ellis could explain exactly what is a Bitcoin Full node is, what his box of tricks can do, and why it's important to have them? Please. Good to see you on-board Henry, this is going to be StartJoin success story

Dec 1st 2015, 21:53

Dec 1st 2015, 21:59

Am I the only one having trouble paying with Bitcoin? I get an "internal error" since yesterday.

Nov 30th 2015, 14:28

Max Keiser

....Looking into it.

Nov 30th 2015, 14:31

Max Keiser

Can you send me a screen grab of what you're seeing when you try to use Bitcoin, please... thanks. send to: One channel allocated almost 435 million dollars from the State budget for international propaganda. And it's not RT.

Nov 30th 2015, 15:00

Apologies for a slight delay in responding. I have been traveling (post Thanksgiving) I just emailed grace. Thanks Max

Nov 29th 2015, 22:43

Stephen Corcoran

Congrats Chris. Must be a record for fastest funded ever. I get the target was achievable but that does not mean the funds will cease to flow over the next 14 days. Hope you are very pleased with results so far :)

Nov 29th 2015, 22:04

Stacy Herbert

Anyone here gonna pledge like a Medici?

Nov 29th 2015, 22:04

owen neary

That would have to be John P or Karl.

Nov 29th 2015, 22:05

I'm a believer . . . this might have to warrant an appearance on Keiser Report to demo these nodes...
